Far from the famous tourist beaches of the southern islands, Northern Thailand holds many largely unseen treasures. This splendorous region of forests, mountains and lush rice fields is the home of Lanna, Thailand's earliest civilization.

Here you will find a relaxed rural way of life which has altered little for generations. Lanna is justly known for its hospitable, courteous people and its beautiful women.
